1. My Goals

    SW: 160

    GW1: 145 [heart rate monitor]

GW2: 135 [new workout outfit from lululemon]

UGW: 125 [full fledged spa day - including massage, facial, and mani/pedi]

And if I can keep myself at my UGW for an entire year (no yo-yoing allowed) I have every intention of purchasing myself a new pair of C-Cups.

Now I know that not all of you will approve of this life choice, etc.  But I personally believe that if you have the power to change something that you truly dislike about yourself… then you should do it!!

After all… is that not why most of us lose weight?? Not because we have to… but because we can… and we want to become a different (possibly better and happier) version of ourselves!!

Do I think that my world we be very different at my UGW with my new boobs? Not really.  Do I think I will be happier? Yes.  Why? because I will finally be able to buy clothes and have it fit properly (not super loose on top) and I will feel like I look feminine… because other than my hips… I lack most curves.

Am I doing this for anyone but myself? Nope.  My boyfriend has no problem with the way I look now (weight and chest) but he wants me to be happy!  During the summer (when I was ~130) his attractiveness for me was not altered.. and I appreciated that! :D

So here I go… off to loose my 35lbs… conquer my goals… and receive my reward!! Look out world… I’m coming for you!

  2. muffintop-less:

I hear a lot of people say they “don’t have time” to get to a gym, prepare healthy food or go for a run. It seems like these people are implying that myself and everyone else in shape has more time in a day than they do. We don’t have more time, we MAKE more time.
I wake myself up at 4 am most mornings to get my workout in before work. Do I WANT to do that? heck no! I love sleeping in! But I make my workout a priority. It is an appointment that I do not miss.
Make your workouts, your nutrition and your overall HEALTH a priority. “If it is important to you, you will find a way…. if not, you will find an excuse”

  4. Motivation

Where has my motivation been lately??

Santa gave me a new tv for my bedroom… And I have spent every moment between work, work, and socializing laying in my bed catching up on all the seasons on DVD that I own!

Tonight, although its minus 20 out there, I’m going for a run when I get off work! Not sure how long it will be… But anything is better than nothing!!

  8. Control Freak!

I have control issues… My grades, my work, my relationships… and just my life in general!!

My weight is one thing that I cannot, for the life of me, fully control.  I want to be able to be my goal weight… have it not be a goal but a reality! And what is stopping me from being able to do this???

NOTHING!!!  I am completely capable of being able to CONTROL the food that goes in my mouth and the exercise that I do!  So why is my weight still out of control?  There is no reasoning other than the honest truth… I am not always in control of my consumption habits and my fitness regiment.

I know that I make statements, promises, commitments, and ambitions of grandeur!! However, everyday I make new realizations (see my post from Friday night), and today’s epiphany is a big one! HUGE!

I am looking forward to tomorrow… because guess what?? I get to be controlling… and it is a good thing!! *smiles*

  9. Realization…

Getting the body that I see in magazines… Harder than it looks!!

I am a meticulous exerciser, I burn calories like a cheetah (lol, I’m not sure what I even mean by that!), I take a thermogenic to assist with the burning, and I eat food that is genuinely good for me! Who would have thought it was this hard!!??

Now when I look at those women, I don’t only see what I want to have, I see a perseverance that those women share with me! I realize that, other than a genetically fortunate few, they are not all naturally like that! They too must validate their food consumption and balance their life with fitness! The only real difference (and it’s a big one) is that the “photo” I’m looking at, and the body they exhibit, is their life, their career, their sole concern!

So when I do achieve my ultimate exterior… I know that my “photo”, my body, and everything that I epitomize… Will be so much greater! Because I did it in the face of real-life obstacles, challenges, and just general everyday life!

I was not paid to lose 20lbs! I did not wake up in the morning knowing that my entire schedule included 5 hours with a personal trainer… Followed by meals produced by a personal dietician and nutritionist!

When I wake up in the morning I make the conscious decision that despite my schooling schedule, work schedule, study schedule, social life, team commitments, etc. I will make an effort to visit the gym! I will make the effort to reject the craving to cave into campus food convenience and sodium! And I will make the effort to continue a battle with my physique, that I genuinely (85% of the time) feel that I am losing!

So cheers to me! And cheers to you! Cheers to all the people who balance their diet and exercise when their plate-of-life is already overflowing!

We are the real deal! And our victory will taste 140 times better because of it!!
